Sólo tres mujeres compiten por la Palma de Oro en Cannes 2022

Ya se reveló la lista oficial de las películas que competirán en la 75 edición del Festival Internacional de Cine de Cannes 2022, que se celebrará del 17 al 28 de mayo.

Son 18 largometrajes los que compiten por la Palma de Oro, el máximo galardón del festival que premia al Séptimo Arte desde 1947.

En esta edición resalta la presencia de Crimes of the Future, película dirigida por David Cronenberg, quien desde hace 8 años estaba ausente de la industria, y ahora regresa con dos promesas contemporáneas del cine: Lea Seydoux y Kristen Stewart.

También llama la atención que de los 18 filmes sólo tres estén dirigidos por mujeres: Les Amandiers, Valeria Bruni; Stars at Noon, Claire Denis, y Showing Up, Kelly Reichardt.
